A lot has been going on at Loot Palace over the last week or 2. As promised, 2012 will be bringing lots of enhancements to the way Loot Palace works. Earning points and getting freebies is only going to get easier as the year goes on. We’ve also made it easier to get around the site, once you’ve logged in.

After logging into your Loot Palace account, you’ll be on the “Offer Wall” page, if you click the tab that says More Ways to Earn (seen below), you’ll find links to other pages with opportunities to earn plunder points…

Major Changes to Doubloons

Sometime in June, or early July, we have plans to get rid of doubloons. Don’t sweat! Any Doubloons you have earned will be converted into Plunder Points, so keep saving them up! We’re going to be retiring the Looter’s Den for a few months, anyone who has paid to gain access to the Looter’s Den will have their doubloons refunded before we convert them into Plunder Points.

Why are we getting rid of doubloons?
Confusion. Lots of people do not understand the difference between doubloons and plunder points and we’d like to make your experience on the site the very best, so doing-away with confusing features is the route we’ll be taking.

Once we make the change, you’ll actually earn plunder points for being active on Loot Palace. All past activities (and new ones) will offer plunder points instead of doubloons. This should make it a bit easier for people to get freebies from Loot Palace.
