How to Change Your Profile PictureNovember 5, 2012 • By @Dan
This November we’re working on a lot of minor changes to the site as we gear up for the new year. Much of what we do now is in preparation of things to come.
This month marks the new payouts for our arcade. The original payout for the arcade was 300pts, 200pts, and 100pts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Moving forward, we’re happy to announce that the new payout table is 500 points, 300 points, and 200 points (for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place scores.) That should help some of you reach your points goal a little bit quicker.
This past Friday and Saturday we upgraded the main member’s area of the website. Visually you’ll notice that the offer walls may look slightly different, and more importantly, you’ll see that we’ve added two new offer walls to our list. In the first 24 hours, BLVD’s offer walls generated a lot of points for many Looters on the site. The other wall, Jampp has also been getting a lot of hits as well.
This is important: Some of you will have logged on today to find your custom Avatar (Gravatar) defaulted to a Pirate ship. There is nothing wrong. We’ve made it easier to change your picture.
You can now update your Avatar directly on Loot Palace, by visiting your profile and selecting Edit Avatar.
Here’s how to update your Avatar picture on Loot Palace
Click Update Profile on the Account menu as seen below:
Click Edit Avatar from the Profile menu:
Now you can either select from our existing Avatar Pool (images we’ve added ourselves), or you can upload your own picture.
Once you’ve made your selection, make sure to click Save before leaving the page.
A few reminders for those who may have missed it…
- The November, Game of the Month has been added.
- November’s Contest is active. It’s essentially a raffle with a large jackpot. Enter at least twice and you could win up to 100,000 point
Lastly, our 4th weekly debate topic has been posted: What is your favorite Ad network?
Hope to see you all on the forums. Give us a response before Friday for a chance to earn extra plunder points for participating in the debate.
