The forums we’ve been talking about for awhile have finally launched! There’s a bit of information you’ll need to know before you start using the forums. There are some unique features about our forum which I think many of you will enjoy the benefits of.

Earn Doubloons For Posting!

You’ll earn extra doubloons anytime you create a thread or reply to an already existing thread. Anyone caught spamming, or posting off topic replies will have their Doubloons reduced. Those who keep it up will have their Doubloons reset back to 0. Basically, don’t abuse the system and you’ll be fine.

You’ll receive 5 Doubloons for creating a new topic, and 1 Doubloon for replying to an already existing thread.

You can also earn extra Doubloons AND Plunder Points by posting useful tutorials or walk-throughs in the “Offer and Survey Help” forum. You will be given points after a Moderator reviews your entry and approves it. If your entry is rejected, we’ll tell you why and what you can do to make it acceptable. Time to Spend Your Doubloons!

I know many of you have been collecting Doubloons over the past few months, waiting patiently for a way to spend them. That time is almost here! We’re not saying much about it right now, but I can tell you two things. One will involve a loyalty section with a different set of offers, and the other will involve spending your Doubloons on a contest system which pays out more Doubloons and sometimes Plunder Points (it will vary from time to time.) More information will be available on this in the upcoming weeks.
