This past December we had a few events going on to help ring in the new year. We increased the points you received daily for logging in, had a 12 day scavenger hunt, and even held a small Secret Santa for some of our regulars who have gotten to know each other over the year. All in all, we had a blast and it seems like many of you did too! Below are some statistics from the holiday event.

The Holiday Box Scavenger Hunt was a big success this year.

In total, 4,336 boxes were opened during our 12 day Holiday Box Scavenger Hunt.

For those who missed the event, here’s a quick summary.

Each day we placed “Holiday Boxes” on a random number of pages on the website. Every morning we shuffled the location of the boxes. If you were one of the first people to find the box, you could type “open” to claim a handful of free points. Each box contained between 5 and 500 points, with a few special boxes containing between 1,000 and 5,000 points.

We also increased the points you received daily from 15, up to 50 from December 15th through the end of the year. If you logged in every day, you would have received a total of 800 points just by stopping by the site!

The results from our Secret Santa event are as followed.

In total, 72,704 plunder points were transferred between accounts during our Secret Santa.
A total of 37 people participated in giving, while only 20 different individuals were on the receiving end.
