What are Nintendo Points?
Nintendo Points is a currency invented to allow you to purchase downloadable content directly from Nintendo. Currently you can only use Nintendo Points on your Wii, DSi, DSiXL, or 3DS.
What can I do with Nintendo Points?
You can use your free Wii Points to purchase downloadable content for your Nintendo Wii or Nintendo DSi / DSiXL or Nintendo 3DS. Most commonly bought items are “virtual console” games. Below are some examples of what you can get with your Nintendo Points.
- Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) – 89 Different Titles, 500 Nintendo Points each
- Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) – 61 Different Titles, 800 Nintendo Points each
- Nintendo 64 (N64) – 20 Different Titles, 1000 Nintendo Points each
- Sega Master System (SMS) – 16 Different Titles, 500 Nintendo Points each
- Sega Genesis – 72 Different Titles, 800 Nintendo Points each
- TurboGrafx-16/TurboGrafx-CD – 63 Different Titles, 600 Nintendo Points each
- Neo Geo – 27 Different Titles, 900 Nintendo Points each
- Commodore 64 – 9 Different Titles, 500 Nintendo Points each
- Virtual Console Arcade – 15 Different Titles, 600 Nintendo Points each

Where can I get Nintendo Points?
You can buy Nintendo Points at major retailers or directly from Nintendo themselves. You can also get free Nintendo Points here at Loot Palace by participating in our website’s program.
How do I use my free Nintendo Points?
You apply your Nintendo Points directly to your account with Nintendo. You can spend these points by going to the Nintendo Store on your Wii, DSi, DSiXL, 3DS, or by visiting Nintendo’s official website.
How are my free Nintendo Points delivered?
When you’ve reached enough Plunder Points on Loot Palace, you will be given the option to exchange them for a free gift card. Choose Nintendo from the selection of gift cards. Your free Nintendo Points code will be emailed to you within 3 to 5 business days. From there, apply the code to your Nintendo account. Please contact us for help with a specific question.
Need help redeeming your free Nintendo points?
Here are the steps you will want to take in order to redeem your Nintendo Points code.
- Power on your Nintendo DSi or DSiXL and click the Nintendo DSi Shop icon on the main menu.
- Next, select the Start Shopping button.
- From there, click “Add Nintendo DSi Points” and then click the redeem Nintendo Points card button.
- On this screen, enter the gift card code that we sent you through email.
- After entering your free Nintendo Points card‘s code, you’ll see the value of the card and an option to “Redeem” it.
- When you click redeem, those Nintendo Points will be added to your account.
- You will be redirected to a screen stating that you’ve successfully added Nintendo Points to your account.
- You’ve completed the process, now enjoy those free points and don’t forget to come back to Loot Palace for more!
